“Western Night” Recognition Event for Marketplace Volunteers

Published On: April 29, 2021

The Kiwanis Marketplace Staff and Hospitality Committee sponsored a wonderful “Western Night” recognition event for all of the Marketplace volunteers who devote so many hours to our mission of supporting the our local community of kids, adults in need, and Veterans.

The event was held at the Marketplace on Monday, April 19th and attended by over 150 people. The gathering was both indoors and outdoors and included great food, beverages, musical entertainment donated by “pic o’ the litter,” and even a hay ride pulled by tractor owned by new member, Steve Alley. Gifts were presented to those with a lucky ticket number. All of the Marketplace volunteers received a gift bag for food or meals at one of these great restaurants: Harold’s, Mountain View Pub, and the Creamery; plus wine tastings for two from Janey’s. Additional great gifts were donated by The Cave Creek Olive Company, The Eddy, The Prickly Pear Inn, It’s a Divine Bakery and Tech4Life. Many thanks for the continued support from our wonderful local merchants!

It was a super Arizona evening and great to be surrounded by fellow volunteers and key members of the Marketplace Staff. Thanks again to our terrific Marketplace volunteers and to those merchants who so generously supported this event.
