The Kiwanis Club of Carefree seeks to promote the well-being of its community, primarily through helping children. With projects ranging from scholarships for students to supporting youth service organizations and new programs at schools, Kiwanis makes a profound difference in kids’ lives and throughout the community.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Over the years, the Kiwanis Club of Carefree has contributed greatly toward the community. Here are just some of the major projects you may see as you drive through our community, or have had the chance to use on occasion.

CACTUS SHADOWS KEY CLUB

Key Club is a self-governing, student-led organization that is sponsored by Kiwanis of Carefree Club as well as the members and fundraising. Each year, Key Club members elect their student officers for club, district and international boards.

SERVICE LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS

Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs are leadership and character-building programs hosted in a school or community agency and sponsored by Kiwanis. Service Leadership Programs have existed since the first Key Club was founded in 1925. Since then, millions of students have been inspired to lead lives of service and significance through programs for all ages.

KIWANIS PANCAKE BREAKFASTS

Our Kiwanis of Carefree pancake breakfasts are a favorite local tradition. They offer good food, at good prices, creating a good time to support our many good community services.
