Service Leadership

Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs are youth leadership and character-building programs hosted in our local schools, sponsored by our club. Terrific Kids, K-Kids – Elementary, Builders Club – Middle School, Key Club – High School, Circle K – College. Service Leadership Programs have existed since the first Key Club was founded in 1925. Since then, millions of students have been inspired to lead lives of service and significance through programs for all ages.

These Clubs generally have a Kiwanis Advisor and a Teacher/Staff Advisor, the clubs themselves are to be operated by the student members. Student members will elect a Board for their Club in accordance with the Kiwanis International SLP Club guidance and bylaws. The role of the Kiwanis/Teacher/Staff Advisor is to guide the SLP Club in activities, Club operations, Club budgeting, member activities, and more.
