Kiwanis Club members joined together for the Member Mixer last week. There was plenty of fun and games, and it was a great way to get to know each other even better! Thank you to all of the members who attended!

It was a fun evening for several of our members as we attended the Annunciation Catholic School Cave Creek Under The Stars Gala. We were proud to be a sponsor of this event!

What a great way to start the day at the Cave Creek Unified School District Business Breakfast! Many of our members were in attendance as we were serenaded by the Sonoran Trails Middle School choir. Plus, we learned about all the wonderful opportunities the Cactus Shadows High School students have ...in the Career and Technical Program at their EVIT campus! They are truly inspiring excellence for our future generation!

How fun is this!!! We are proud to help support the growth of the Preschool at Carefree Christian Academy. Watch to see the smiling faces of the kiddos who are now enjoying their new playground equipment. A special note from Principal and Preschool Director, Selene Nelson, M.Ed.:

"A... huge THANK YOU to each of you and your teams for helping make our new preschool playground a reality! The playground was recently state-certified for safety so our preschools are officially playing on it every day! It is also accessed by community students on the weekends, so is a well-loved place for students to be active, happy, and healthy for years to come."

Ed had the opportunity to deliver to Purse-Impressions Charity Boutique with a grant to help 300 kids residing in sober living facilities with Back to School Backpacks and Diaper bags for newborns. We are proud to support the work they do for those in drug and alcohol rehab facilities.

Member Tom P presented a check to Evelyn Johnson, Director of the Cave Creek Museum, to support the Kiwanis sponsored STEM program involving the Museum's partnership with the Fledgling Skyward Youth Aviation + Aerospace Academy training program. The museum will provide classroom support for ...the Scottsdale based Aviation program in order to provide better program access to kids in the Cave Creek/Carefree area. Additional training will take place at Fledging Youth's Scottsdale facility, where aviation simulators and related technical equipment will be made available to our kids.
