KIWANIS MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

Cam Kuniej is originally from the Chicagoland area. He has lived in Arizona since 2019, and he started his business in Cave Creek in 2020 as an Insurance Agent with Farmers Insurance of Arizona.

He graduated from Illinois State University, with a BS in Jewelry and Metalsmithing. He was introduced to the idea of building his own business in Insurance as he was working at a local jewelry store. He soon got his Life/Health Insurance licenses and began to look for opportunities within the industry.

Cam’s favorite part of living in Arizona has been hiking, and he has completed the Grand Canyon Rim-2-Rim, on multiple occasions. He hikes Black Mountain Trail and Tom’s Thumb Trail regularly, so you may catch him out there on a sunny morning.

The most important way he spends his time when he is not in the office is with his family! Cam’s favorite thing about the Cave Creek area has been the uniqueness of its character. He enjoys seeing the art and crafts fairs throughout Cave Creek and Carefree.

Cam’s respects the Kiwanis tradition of serving our community. He appreciates when we all stand up weekly to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, and when we are led in a patriotic song by Ted Dimon. He appreciates when so many members help create positive change by working together to build the local community .

This year with Kiwanis, he has served on the Pancake Breakfast Committee, The Future Planning Committee, and the Communications Committee and is in line to serve on the Board of Directors in our next fiscal year.

He enjoys contributing to Kiwanis events and seeing the joy we bring to the community through public service and projects like the Scholarship Awards Program! Cam Kuniej is proud to be a part of such a great service organization, with such an amazing group of people. Please consider joining him.
