Big Thank You from CCUSD

Kiwanis of Carefree recently received a large “Thank You” poster from the Cave Creek Unified School District (CCUSD), thanking Kiwanis for its financial grants to the district during the last year. The poster highlights Kiwanis helping fund a kindergarten field trip to MIM, a 4th grade trip to Western Heritage, a 5th grade Junior Achievement trip to Biz Town, as well as supporting K-Kids.

The poster, which will be displayed in the Marketplace, was presented by Marcie Rodriguez, CFO of CCUSD, and Susan Rees, the district Financial Director. The poster was accepted by Communications Committee members Joyce Jordan, Les Hardie and Tom Pozarycki, and Schools and Education Committee members Tom Leard and Kathy Haugner.
