Horseshoe Trails Elementary School K-Kids Club

Published On: February 7, 2023

In January of 2021, we started our K-Kids Club.  The first year we had 6 members, the second year we had 10 and this year we have almost 20 members.  We meet on Thursday at 8:00 and each week we do a different project.  We had a toiletry drive in September and a game and blanket drive in December  to benefit the Food bank.  Once a month, we collect recycling around the school.  We’ve made posters to celebrate Bus Diver Week and to welcome our upcoming kindergarteners.

Dear Mr Hart,

At Horseshoe Trails Elementary School, we love K-Kids! We have increased our member participation steadily this year supporting our school and our community, through support for PuppyLuv Rescue. Under teachers, Leighanne Harrison and Stephanie Holder, students have participated in a number of community events including a towel/blanket drive, Dress like a Dalmatian Day, donations raised for PuppyLuv rescue through Dalmatian Day and a Saturday morning volunteer event with 15 students! Students have had a blast representing our school in a way that also supports our community and also supports animals. We appreciate the opportunity to be involved in such an amazing organization!
